Mix all the ingredients (except chicken) in a sauce pan and allow it to simmer for about 15 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Set aside and let it cool.
Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, season the wings with salt and pepper and add a drizzle of oil.
Pour over the sauce (leave some for basting later) and make sure all wings are coated. Then let the wings marinate for an hour or 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 200℃.
Layer the wings onto a baking tray and grill for 15 minutes, take the wings out and baste with the remaining sauce and grill again for 10 to 15 minutes.
Baste again if necessary and serve.
