Online Cooking Classes: I (Andiswa) learned how to bake and cook at a very early age between 7 and 8yrs old. I watched my mother and late uncle prepare food for the next day, also making breakfast in the morning. My late aunt on the other hand cooked like a professional chef, to this day I have not mastered how to cook and leave a pot clean without washing it, and my aunt mastered this. My late grandmother made the best big vetkoeks (amagwinya) and best sour porridge for breakfast. My late grandmother’s sister, made the best imifino, and my late dad, made the best onion and sausage with gravy (the only thing I have ever witnessed him cook).

These are my childhood memories of my family kitchens and food. Food brought us together, food brought us laughter, food brought closer, food was always a medium of communication.

Thus, it is my hope to pass these sort of memories to anyone willing to learn from me. I’m offering these services to your children, adults and homes with an understanding that, ‘gone are the days where all parents can be home early to make dinner and to also pass on heartwarming recipes to their children due to having busy lives and creating generational wealth’. I hope to close that gap for you and I pray it brings value into your lives.

Enamel Ware: Enamel brings memories of sitting around fire in the farm with my grandparents and cousins, listening to my grandfathers’ night stories while my grandmother was cooking with cast iron pots over fire. Then she would serve us with enamel basins to share. Today I use it a lot for nostalgia reasons, however, also because I have found it to be so versatile. I can cook, bake and serve with it. So heavenly for me really, and I do hope that using one creates wonderful memories for you too.

Bakery Shop (Delivery): The first food item I ever made the first time, was bread, at an age of seven, till this day I find bread making therapeutic. I find it so marvellous and magical, that yeast, water and flour can create so many beautiful, fresh, luscious to rustic and artisan breads.  I have been asked so many times to sell my baked goods. So, I’m starting with quick tea breads, even breakfast breaks and other baked treats to bring to your homes.

Private Catering: As mentioned above food brought my family and I together, and is a medium of communication. Thus, I hope to bring you together with your loved ones, around the table and using food as a medium of communication.
