Recently, I discovered Mandel Bread, a type of cookie similar to the famous Italian biscotti. Mandel Bread is made using similar ingredients of the biscotti but the difference is oil (not butter). Its basic ingredients are flour, almond, sugar, eggs and oil.
These cookies are decadent and perfect for this one-day cool weather we have today, since we’ve been by a heatwave. I thought it was a perfect to make these cookies and share.
The first time I made chocolate chip cookies was in 2011/12, when I bought a box of chocolate chips to bake a chocolate cake. There was a coconut chocolate chip recipe at the back of the box. I used the recipe for a church bake and share initiative.
